Performance of "The Year Christmas Was Almost Cancelled" during Mo`olelo Studios' Christmas Spectacular

There’s a magical place where you can watch an original Christmas musical, take a picture with Santa, eat gingerbread cookies, drink “elf-made” hot chocolate, write a letter to Santa, play in a snow blizzard, top it off by roasting ‘smores at a ‘smores pit and more; and it’s all tucked away in Kaimuki.

From December 1st through December 23rd, Mo’olelo Performing Arts Studios will produce their 2nd Annual Christmas Spectacular event from 5pm – 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 4pm – 9pm on Sundays at the Dr. Richard T. Mamiya Theatre on the campus of St. Louis School.

The Year Christmas Was Almost Cancelled

The event features the original holiday musical “The Year Christmas Was Almost Cancelled”, a heartwarming story featuring Santa, his wife and his faithful elves as they deal with the fallout of having to cancel Christmas for a year. The musical focuses on the true importance of the season and showcases a small, tight-knit cast including Broadway performer Matthew Pedersen as the jolly man in the red suit. “The Year Christmas Was Almost Cancelled” plays Friday and Saturday nights at 7pm and Sundays at 6pm.
