Assets School

Join Assets School this summer and experience how we can make a difference for your child! Camp Ke Kula Pa’ani promises kids in grades K-8 a fun-filled time focusing on sports, games, art classes, sciences, and experiments. Campers will experience a positive and enriching environment, with opportunities to develop friendships that will increase their self-esteem, boost their confidence, and promote independence.

Ballet Hawaii

Ballet Hawaii has been enriching Hawaii’s cultural environment by teaching, promoting, presenting, and producing dance since 1976. Our non-profit organization provides opportunities for self-development, self-esteem, creativity and improved well-being for students, patrons, and audiences. Classes are focused on building self-confidence through accomplishment, and Ballet Hawaii is a leader in presenting world-class performers from the top ballet companies in the world.

This year, our summer session from June 2 to August 10 for dancers ages 3 and up allows children to experience the joys of dance in a safe, fun and supportive environment. Camp Homelani

Join The Salvation Army at Camp Homelani on the North Shore this summer for a once in a lifetime summer camp experience! We are offering 6 different week-long overnight camps to choose from for children ages 7-17, providing a healthy week of social, recreational, and spiritual activities. COE at UH Manoa

Welcome to COE Summer Programs (formerly CRDG), where learning comes alive! UH Manoa’s popular and renowned program offers immersive education for students in grades 1-9, emphasizing experiential learning through hands-on classes and enriching field trips. Students can explore unique ecosystems in our Hawaii Nature Studies classes, both in the classroom and at diverse natural sites and labs. Hanahauʻoli School

Hanahauʻoli School is offering enriching learning opportunities on our Makiki campus this summer. Full and half-day options are available for JK-4th grade students from June 10 through July 12. A week-long camp is offered for grades K-4 from July 15-19.

The Skills We Need: Our distinctive program for DOE students entering grades 2-3. Students are invited to join in multi-age, child-centered, collaborative and interactive experiences, aimed at building the foundation and skills needed for lifelong learning and engagement in our ever-changing world. Preference will be given to students who meet HI DOE Free or Reduced Lunch Eligibility status (documentation required).

JK – 4th Grade Summer School Program: We welcome students to play and learn together through multidisciplinary units. Morning and whole day options are offered at each age level. Children will enjoy age-appropriate, engaging, hands-on experiences while practicing foundational skills.

Hanalani Schools

Hanalani summer programs offer exploration and enrichment for students in preschool through grade 12. Our summer program for preschool through grade 6, “Kai Imi Loa,” is filled with academics and activities including art, outdoor play, and fun excursions! We offer school readiness skills and reinforcement of reading, writing, and math at every grade level, as well as before-school and after-school care through grade 6. Hanalani’s summer courses for grades 7-12 are designed for enrichment, advancement, and course credit. We offer on-campus courses for core academic subjects and a wide variety of online courses.

Hawaii Academy

Hawaii Academy is Oahu’s largest gymnastics school with three locations (Kalihi, JBPHH, and Waipahu). Movement education for children ages 1-5 starts the youngest of learners on the road to lifelong wellness. There are also classes for children, teens, adults, and elders. Activities offered include trampoline, gymnastics, tumbling, cheer training, acrobatics, apparatus, fitness, and movement education. Ninja classes, which train students for obstacle courses similar to those seen on the television show American Ninja Warrior, are one of the popular offerings at the Academy that inspires students to improve their overall physical fitness.

Recreation events include monthly fun nights, open to members and non-members ages 6 and up, where participants can practice what they have learned in classes and socialize with friends who share common interests.

Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus

Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus’ 31st annual summer intensive program, OPERAtunities, is open to all students entering grade 5 through graduating seniors. Come develop and hone performance skills, solo singing skills, develop skills as a singing actor, learn Hawaiian culture, Hawaiian history and Hawaiian legends, all while making friends and having fun! This year we will be deputing our summer opera performance “Scales”, based on an original native Hawaiian story about dragons who live on Maui.

Island Pacific Academy

Let your Kindergarten-Grade 8 child explore and grow this summer at Island Pacific Academy, West Oahu’s largest accredited, independent college preparatory school. Mo’olelo Studios

Become a part of the Mo’olelo Performing Arts Studio family! Our annual Summer Musical Theatre Workshop will be held in June and July, culminating in the showcase of the Broadway musical “Seussical Jr.” Students in grades 3-12 are welcome to register for this program, but are suggested to do so as soon as possible, since participants are limited on a first come first serve basis.

Classes for the workshop will take place from June 3-July 5, Monday through Friday between 1 p.m. -4:30 p.m. at the Dr. Richard T. Mamiya Theatre on the campus of Saint Louis School. At Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum’s Summer Flight School, students in grades 6-8 will spend an action-packed week discovering the world of aviation through fast-paced STEM activities.
