Promoting mutual understanding, economic cooperation, and ethnic harmony between the people of Hawaii and the Pacific Rim region, the Honolulu Festival is Hawaii’s premier cultural event. Focusing on the theme “Pacific Harmony”, the festival looks to introduce the diverse culture of the Pacific region to the people of Hawaii and visitors from all over the world. The festival attracts thousands of new and returning spectators every year. The 3-day annual event includes dance performances, a craft fair featuring over 100 booths, cultural demonstrations and a vibrant parade through Waikiki.

Bring the entire family down to the YMCA’s beautiful beachfront 20-acre Camp Erdman site in Waialua to enjoy a fun, free day experiencing camp activities, tours of our cabins, and learning about the many opportunities offered from family camps to youth and teen summer weekly overnight camps, environmental and cultural programs, retreats and more! Bring your swimsuits and covered shoes to enjoy water fun and exciting adventure activities like the high ropes challenge (must be 13 years or older), Alpine Tower Climb, archery, and the Gaga Pit game and more. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Saint Patrick’s Day Parade

Join the Friends of Saint Patrick Hawaii for the Annual Waikiki St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The march steps off on Kalakaua Avenue in front of Fort DeRussy and makes its way through Waikiki to the bandstand at Kapiolani Park.  The parade has around 800 participants including community organizations, marching bands, groups from the military, and keiki from local and mainland schools.

The annual Kawaii Kon is back at the Hawaii Convention Center. This 3-day convention celebrates Japanese anime (cartoons), manga (comics), and all facets of Japanese culture. There will be events all throughout the convention. There will be art auctions, cosplay contests, anime premieres, video game and tabletop tournaments, and more!
