The Summer CTE Academy is an exciting five-week program that offers high school students (Class of 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2028) the unique opportunity to explore a wide range of career and technical education (CTE) fields. Taking place from June 12 to July 16 at Honolulu Community College, students will engage in hands-on learning through lab work, group projects, lectures, and assignments.
Throughout the program, participants rotate through three different modules, each lasting seven days, in subjects such as Automotive Technology, Cosmetology, Welding, Music & Entertainment, Early Childhood Education, Fashion, and more! This will allow students to discover the technical fields that best match their interests and talents.
In addition to career exploration, the program provides exposure to the college environment, helping students familiarize themselves with campus resources, procedures, and academic goal setting.

Want to learn a fun sport? The U.S. Tennis Association has been teaching Hawaii tennis for over 20 years. Affordable youth and adult tennis lessons are offered year-round at more than 15 convenient park locations across Oahu. Racquets and balls are provided, so you simply have to show up and have fun. Keiki as young as 5 years old are welcome to join the game.

Wiki Wiki Swim School provides private swim instruction at client-provided homes and community pools across all of Oahu. The school was founded in 2014 with a mission to make learning to swim more convenient, effective, safe and consistent. Our Certified Instructors are highly qualified professionals who must pass an intensive screening and interview process, a background check, and adhere to the company guidelines. The school’s patient and caring instructors have a minimum of 2 years of experience with teaching children and most of our instructors are also certified lifeguards. All Wiki Wiki Swim School instructors are First Aid certified, and CPR certified for both infants and adults. After discussing your needs, Wiki Wiki Swim School will match you to your handpicked instructor who will contact you to schedule lessons. Dive in and begin reaching your swimming goals!

Summer Y Teen Programs – Thanks to generous donors, this year’s summer programs for teens and pre-teens who have completed grades 6-11, are FREE! Choose from Summer Y Teen Club for teens who, by summer, have completed grades 6 – 7; or Y Junior Leadership & Enrichment for teens who have completed grades 8-11.
Swimming Pools – Our heated pools ensure comfort and fun for everyone. Whether your child is a non-swimmer or looking to improve their strokes, we cater to all with our swimming lessons for all ages and abilities, starting from six months onwards. This is a perfect opportunity for your child to dive in and become a confident swimmer.
Camp Erdman Summer Weekly Overnight Camps – Our weekly overnight camps provide a safe environment for children and teens who have completed grades 1-11, to explore their interests, build new skills, and gain independence. Ranging from archery and high rope challenges to arts and crafts and campfire s’mores, our camps offer a broad range of activities. Campers can choose to add a specialty to their camp week, such as surfing, horseback riding, climbing lessons, off-site North Shore adventures, or Hawaiian cultural activities.
Family Staycation Weekend Camps – This is perfect for the whole family. With all meals, accommodations, and our most popular camp activities included, all you need to do is relax and enjoy quality time together in the great outdoors! Beachfront cabin and yurt nightly rentals are also available year-round.
