Celebrate Hawaii’s keiki at the 33rd Annual Children and Youth Day on Sunday, October 4, from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Hawaii State Capitol and surrounding areas. This statewide celebration brings together families, educators, community organizations, and leaders for a day dedicated to honoring and uplifting Hawaii’s children and youth. Explore more than 100 interactive booths featuring hands-on activities, STEM projects, cultural experiences, health and wellness resources, and much more. Enjoy live entertainment, ono food, and family-friendly fun while discovering valuable community programs and services that support children and families year-round. Admission is free and open to the public.

Haunted Plantation

Sea Life Park Keiki Sunday Celebrating Halloween

Inspired by the legendary stories and ocean traditions of Hawaii, keiki are invited to dress in costumes for early Halloween festivities with Mo‘olelo: Myths and Legends of Hawai‘i from 10 AM to 2 PM, with activities throughout the park. Experience free face painting, keiki hula performances, a themed photo booth,and special character visits as we celebrate Hawaiian moolelo (storytelling) and family-friendly activities throughout the day.

LeaLea Charity Run 5K

Free Community Concert featuring Da Braddahs and IMUA

Celebrate 100 years of Camp H.R. Erdman at this free community concert on Saturday, October 17, honoring the camp’s centennial and the resilience of Oahu’s North Shore following the Kona Low storm. The evening begins at 4 PM with keiki activities, food trucks, and camp tours. From 5–7 PM, enjoy comedy from Da Braddahs before headliner IMUA performs under the stars against the backdrop of the Waianae Mountains and Mokuleia Beach.
Camp H.R. Erdman was established in 1926 through a gift from Marion D. Erdman and Mary Dillingham Frear in memory of Harold R. Erdman, with the hope that “his spirit of contribution to the happiness of others carries on.” That spirit continues today as the community comes together to celebrate a century of camp memories. Admission is free thanks to generous donors— a gift to the community.
While the camp has welcomed campers back this summer, recovery efforts continue following the storm. VIP dinner tables, sponsorships, and donations to the Camp H.R. Erdman Recovery Fund are available to support the camp’s ongoing restoration

Honolulu Pride Festival
